Bilingual Limited-Licensed Therapist

Job Description

Thrive is looking to hire part-time and full-time bilingual, limited-licensed clinicians.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide direct/tele-health clinical treatment/therapeutic counseling as appropriate to children, adolescents, parents/guardians, couples and families.
  • Assess client needs, develop treatment plans, implement interventions, review outcomes, revisit/revise strategies, and employ other methods compatible with Thrive’s principles and practices.
  • Engage client, supports, caregivers and other key participants in active, change-oriented treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to engagement.
  • Collaborate with all relevant internal/external systems/participants to ensure buy-in and cooperation, and to maximize effectiveness throughout treatment. 
  • Link consumers to additional resources as appropriate, including schools, MDHHS and medical/mental health support, etc. 
  • Maintain clear and concise documentation of treatment efforts, which promote peer and supervisory review and feedback.
  • Participate in team meetings, staff events, community events, peer support, supervision and internal or external professional development opportunities to extend knowledge and remain current on best practices.
  • Maintain personal integrity and follow the guidelines of the national and state ethical codes of practice as well as Thrive’s codes of conduct. 
  • Attend regular supervision with direct supervisor per state licensure requirements through completion. 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Must have already completed master’s degree in counseling, social work or related human services field.
  • Associate limited licensure (LLMFT, LLPC, LLP, LLC, LLMSW) in Michigan is required.
  • Community or home-based mental health counseling experience in the field through professional or work within a Master’s level internship. 
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English, with a knowledge of and ability to use clinical language in both languages is required. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and sensitivity to diverse cultures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible work schedule with the ability to work evenings and via tele-health.
  • Valid driver's license, vehicle & laptop.

Job Type

  • Spanish/English Bilingual Therapist
  • Limited-licensed
  • Full-time and/or part-time positions.

Compensation

  • 60/40 split pay per session. (Professional supervision is included in the 40% split). 
  • Rate per session will depend on the service provided. 
  • Average rate per session ranges from $60 - $150 per session. 

Schedule

Flexible schedule.
